Hi There!

Just when I was supposed to sit back and relax with my knitting needles, I decided to go back to school and train for a second career . . . and I am so happy that I did.

I must admit that it is a bit of a challenge being the oldest student in the class, on a daily basis. Psst… I think I am even older than all of my teachers, but that’s besides the point. The important thing is that I am learning . . . a lot.

My goal is to be a web designer, so that I can work remotely from anywhere that I choose, which hopefully will be from Costa Rica. Also, being retired is really nice, but I miss the daily interaction that being around other people brings and I love learning new things.

I am hoping to use this practice website as a training ground, to supplement my actual formal education on web design and I hope you will follow me on this journey.

Hmm… maybe one day, I will be able to design a website for you.
